Solo Holidays to Sri Lanka – 5 Days

On the first day, we will pick you up at the airport. You will be greeted by our professional driver. Our driver will understand and converse with you in English. Your 5-day trip kicks off here. First, we will go to Pinnawala. It is a small village 90km from Colombo. We will take you to either Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage or Millenium Elephant Foundation. Your day two starts with a very unique place. After having breakfast, you will go to a place that houses a tooth of Lord Buddha. It is called the Temple of Tooth in Kandy. It is a Buddhist temple and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then, we will head to Gem Museum. It is home to natural gems and gemmology. It has the world’s largest Sapphire rock. On day three, we will go to a small town called Ella. On the way, you will have breakfast and go to a significant place. If you know about Ramayana, you will love this place. It is the Seetha Amman Kovil Temple. As per mythology, Sita Mata spent her days of imprisonment by Ravan here. You will see the stream where she supposedly took bath. The area is said to be the area burnt by Hanuman Ji. After this, we will go to Hakgala Botanical Gardens. This is also a beautiful garden with many varieties of plants and flowers you may never have seen before. Finally, you will have lunch and start for Ella as per your tour package of Sri Lanka. Today we will start our adventure at the Yala National Park. Early morning, 6 am, you will step into the grand wildlife sanctuary. Forbes reports that Sri Lanka is ‘the best Safari destination outside of Africa’. Yala has the highest density of leopards in the world! So you get to spot these elegant creatures on your ride.
